Author Guidelines

The following guidelines are designed to assist authors in preparing and submitting manuscripts to the International Journal of Intelligent Computing Systems. All submissions must comply with the instructions outlined below to ensure a smooth peer review and publication process.

Co-author Communication

The corresponding author must provide accurate and complete contact details—including full name, email, institutional affiliation, and mailing address—for all listed authors. It is the responsibility of the submitting author to ensure that all co-authors are informed about the manuscript submission. Any changes to authorship after submission (such as removal of an author) require written consent from the author being removed and a formal request from the corresponding author.

When recommending peer reviewers, authors should avoid individuals with any personal or professional relationship to the authors or co-authors.

Submission Checklist

  1. The manuscript must conform to the formatting and structural guidelines provided by the journal. Non-compliant submissions may experience delays in the review process.
  2. Any citations to unpublished work should be accompanied by relevant documents submitted as supplementary files for review purposes only.
  3. Authors must include sufficient data or explanations to ensure that findings are reproducible.
  4. The cover letter should briefly summarize the manuscript, outline its significance, and explain its relevance to the journal. Authors may suggest suitable reviewers by providing:
    • Name
    • Current designation and institution
    • Institutional email address
    • Brief note on research expertise
  5. Recommended reviewers must not have any direct or indirect affiliation with the authors.
  6. The corresponding author is responsible for obtaining the consent of all co-authors before submission.

Editorial Workflow

    • Cover letter

    • Figure files in PNG format
  2. The editorial team conducts an initial screening to assess relevance and compliance with the journal’s scope and quality standards.
  3. Manuscripts deemed unsuitable at this stage will be declined with appropriate feedback.
  4. If accepted for peer review, the manuscript is assigned to reviewers with expertise in the relevant domain.
  5. The standard peer review timeline is 20 to 30 days.
